Any recommendations on where to buy a good used chip truck. Any good reliable dealers out there? Thinking of getting another chip truck.

I have had difficulty finding them. Currently building my 3rd on an 05 international 4300 paid $7000 which was a box truck with air brakes and under CDL. Im taking the box off and having a company install a hoist, dump body, and boxes for $15K. After paint and tires and mis ill be into it for about $30k.

We've had luck with used older Asplundh chip trucks (2005 or 2006 GMC 6500) from a local dealer. Here's one of his current Craigslist adds.

Chip truck is set up with 14 ft Southco box. 12 valve 5.9 cummins. Brand new steer tires, brand new brakes all around. 20,000 lb. hydraulic winch on front bumper. PTO works well. 5 speed with 2 speed rear end. Brand new rear end. All compartments have newer latches. Good batteries, Heat works, NO LEAKS, ready to work. Instrument cluster needs harness. Recent oil change and new brakes.
