Compact Bulldog Bone

From following this thread, everyone says to PM surveyor to get a price, as there are options.
I have the version with the adjustable bollard. I love it! It allows the user to fine tune its performance fairly exactly for varying diameters and textures of rope. Figure into the price adding a Nano swivel or the equivalent for maximum convenience.

A Bone user gives feedback (thanks Andy) that the Bone loves his Liros Ignite rope. Though I would pass it on.

climbers that use the 12mm+ size rope exclusively should consider the Stubby Bone (made for vortex because that is what I have on hand), made with a none adjustable bollard 5/8" bollard that works well on the regular Bone with that same bollard size. I suspect the Stubby would work well with the KM3max and Liros (12.8mm) also. The Stubby has a wider opening between the friction link pin and side swivel link gate, shorter spine, and a shorter top arm, with a shorter pivot length (hence the name Stubby Bone).

Received 150' feet of Teufelberger Xtatic this week. Tried it out yesterday - it's an excellent choice for the BDB.
Only complaints: It can be a bit "wiry" like HTP after it's been climbed on, so that's a bit annoying when putting the rope away, but not a huge deal. Also, I ordered this rope from Bartlett and they sent it to me coiled up inproperly. They set it coiled up like an extension cord (just laid the rope on top of itself, clockwise), if that makes sense. So, I had a hell of a time trying to uncoil the rope because it had many, many twists in it. Still working those twists out, 4 days later. The stiffness/static nature of the rope makes this even more of a pain. Also, to secure the coil, they electrical taped it in 3 different spots, and they used tape with adhesive that ended up leaving sticky residue on the rope (infuriating). That's all I have to say about that.

Anyway, love the rope regardless of how it was delivered. Love the color and performance. Highly recommend it.

Sounds like they need to take a note from Yale on ROPE packing!

@wyatt spruck , have you tended any other configurations than the one you've pictured?

Yes.
I've tended by directly clipping to the hole in the spine, the D ring on the upper arm (on the non-adjustable upper arm assembly, that is), and also from the nano swivel (does not work very well at all).

This method pictured is my preferred method. I clip another XSRE on a chest harness (dyneema webbing loop, 8mm x 24"ish) to the XSRE attached to the spine of the BDB.

Co ol..you inspired me to attach my mini Stein biner I use on my chestie to the spine hole tending point and wow I was impressed. Single line of course . When dual stationary lines are in use a still need the flexibility the bungee tethers fromthe top. But wow the little biner to the spine hole for the win today! Say that five times fast ! Lol.

Still feel so blessed everyday I look at my ROPE and see dem bones stuck on them. Unbelievable tool! Ok Aaron clean up the drool. It's just a mechanical hitch , yeah hello!
