Sena Communications.....whats new?

So I got a few months on the 10S system. Is it worth the extra money, no. I was hoping the addition of the app would make connecting to people easier, but that wasnt the case. The noise canceling doesnt almost blocks out too much noise. When you by the chipper you can no longer commicate. Im gunna put a new SMH10 guts back in my helmet, and run the new 10S module till it craps out. Hopefully there will be a better option in the next year or two.

The tuff talks will pair to any bluetooth device (within reason). They also have a microphone mute which makes the units much better on the job site.

Has anyone used the 20s?
If so is the flip up antenna problematic?
I have a 20s, don't use it much to talk to the crews, but I do use it for the music and the radio feature is awesome if you have a low data limit on your phone.

As to the antenna, I don't have any issues with it, its very low profile when its down (which is where i leave it) and if it deploys accidentally once a month it's a lot and usually takes a pretty decent bouncing of the hardhat to cause it so you need to readjust and can feel the antenna up. I never noticed any increase in range with the antenna up vs down, though i do think it has a bit more range than the 10's, though only by a little bit

Been using the sonetics headsets the past 4 years, so far they seem to be so the trick. I've tried earmark and peltor also, didn't have the range and or clarity like the sonetics. Never tried Sena
