Wanted Bandit 1590xp or 1890xp

I'm sure you've checked Tree and landscape trader, but how about Machinery Trader? I'll keep an open eye. Stuff's selling quick recently. Stuff around me is anyway.

A+A equipment, also known as Rick's Tree Service has a few of them. I'm also in the market for a 1590xp without DEF but what's out there is priced too high

Are any of Ricks equipment any good? I too have noticed he has a lot of stuff....but they prices are way too high. Plus, wasn't sure if he was just another Tri State Forestry that just throws paint on things.

He is buying trade ins from a local dealer and marking them up. Most are not auction bought and have original paint on them except for the green ones. They are good machines just overpriced. I can't get myself to buy a new gas chipper and I'm hesitant on going the DEF route.

That makes sense. There good machines.....just way overpriced. My mechanic said to steer clear of anything with DEF Fluid. Said it will be in the shop more than on the job. He said that 2010 through 2013 were especially bad years.
I have 60K for a new chip truck.....but if I stay away from DEF then their is not a lot out their. I don't want to go back too far and have away out-dated truck.

I have a 2016 Freightliner chip truck and 2015 Mack Crane, both have DEF and zero issues but the chippers have issues before you even involve the complications of DEF. Up until this year there were enough teir 3 industrial engines on the shelf that were being sold in most chippers. Now its all tier 4 in all new chippers and stump grinders over 99hp. I just don't want to be the giunea pig. It will be fine when the bugs get worked out. Just like it did with the trucks. We have 4 chippers now and would like to replace two of them soon, since our oldest is a 2007

Yeah...that is true. The newer trucks do not have the DEF issues. Its the earlier ones when things were getting worked out.
