I also use Stihlmadds X-tending system with the rings. The combination make Ddrt ascent pretty smooth.
I know I'm behind the times but I'm enjoying myself.

The 2017 Fids & Fibers Splicing Workshop was inspiring, once again. Here's the latest splice I've finished on a slightly used piece of Tachyon, just a few days after the end of the Workshop. Whipping isn't something I've tried to glamorize in the past, but I'm feeling like exploring my own whipping signature. This is a start, although I'm positive this pattern has been done before. That color combo makes me want to sell all of my other ropes, so I can buy 2 spools of the Black,Blue, & White! That's an awesome color. And Tachyon to top it off!

Yeah.. and I don't own any Tachyon. But I've been thinking about it a lot, lately, for the Akimbo. That color scheme is really nice. Now, I gotta go look and see who carries it....
