So I did that muffler mod. Pros: both saws scream like a crazy banshee.
Sorta cons: made the fins too narrow so now I have to watch where I hold the saw because I burn the shit out of my fingers with hot exhaust. It's so loud I can't hear myself think

Again, the 361 is running like the 441 and the 441 is running like a 460 or something like that. Performance is improved. Wish I could do it over again though.

Brads gills are amazingly hard to do and make look good. I have tried a few times and gave up. Made a die to stamp out a stock style deflector. Drill appropriate size hole, add mesh for spark arrester, bolt deflector on. cant hardly screw that up.
