Yo!

Yes! Happy Easter to all.

At Easter I am always reminded if what Paul wrote to the Corinthians:

Now, let me ask you something profound yet troubling...

If there's no resurrection, there's no living Christ. And let's face it — if there's no resurrection for Christ, everything we've told you is smoke and mirrors, and everything you've staked your life on is smoke and mirrors. Not only that, but we would be guilty of telling a string of barefaced lies about God, all these affidavits we passed on to you verifying that God raised up Christ—sheer fabrications, if there's no resurrection.

If corpses can't be raised, then Christ wasn't, because he was indeed dead. And if Christ weren't raised, then all you're doing is wandering about in the dark, as lost as ever. It's even worse for those who died hoping in Christ and resurrection, because they're already in their graves. If all we get out of Christ is a little inspiration for a few short years, we're a pretty sorry lot. But the truth is that Christ has been raised up, the first in a long legacy of those who are going to leave the cemeteries.

Either He walked out of the grave, or He didn't. If He didn't then He is irrelevant and anything He said is also irrelevant.

No matter which is true, we each, at some point in our lives, must answer a simple question, "What am I going to do with the person of Jesus."

We must all decide, one way or another, whether he is Lord, was a Liar, or simply a Lunatic.

And the beautiful thing about it is that we are each free to chose as we see fit.

As for me, the historical accounts of His life, death & resurrection, not only in the scriptures but of the secular historians of His time, strongly support His going to the grave and walking among the people again.

As for my personal life I have seen evidence of a power greater than myself, capable of more than I can imagine.

As for myself, I cast my vote that He is Lord.

If nothing else, if we are sitting on the fence not yet making a decision about Him, our lives are on hold.

Once we decide, no matter whether we choose to write Him off as a liar, file Him away as a looney or accept Him as Lord, our lives can truly move forward.

It is really just one more in a long string of life decisions we all need to resolve. Might as well do it now and begin to live!

Where'd you go?

You missed a lot in the last couple of months. Daniel tried, in vain, to teach us some new secret skidsteer cuts. As usual, it went over our heads.

Well, I guess that was it. You really didn't miss much.
