Say yes to this historical event. In the 188 year history of the Green-Wood Cemetery, nothing like this event has been hosted. Come climb in this first annual Women's Tree Climbing Workshop® in NYC!
Since 2009, the Women's Tree Climbing Workshop® has created tree-climbing experiences for professionals, tree lovers, nature enthusiasts, artists, and authors alike.
This workshop will provide a rare and exciting opportunity to spend three days safely exploring and climbing in the magnificent historic trees of Green-Wood Cemetery, one of New York City's wooded gems.
This welcoming and empowering weekend will renew your spirit as you discover the magic of trees. You will bond with other tree people and you will leave with new social and sylvan communities.
Each participant will receive their own copy of Take to the Trees by writer and New York City resident, Marguerite Holloway, in honor of this event.
This workshop includes food, instruction, use of gear, networking and 19.75 ISA (professional arborist) CEU’s.
Lodging is not included; blocks of rooms have been reserved at a local hotel.
