I know, I know. You were climbing before they invented the climbing spur, you had to sharpen your toenails and make up a lanyard out of a braided poison ivy vine to get up a tree so you could chop it down with a flint axe!

The only climbers I have met that hated spur work are the ones that never took the time to set themselves up with the right equipment or failed to acquire profiency with them.

Spur work is easy and fast.

I don't mind it if it's a big/tall oak removal sometimes I'll srt to the top with my spurs on and switch, I got the Bucklights last year give improvement over my klien or steel geckos.
