Wonder Gloves and Alternatives

I'm addicted to these but the groundies find my stash and each morning they're all wearing shiny new blue gloves. I collect the decent ones at days end and toss them in a big cardboard box. These get washed and, with luck, each pair gets two uses. We usually have a surplus of left-handed gloves.

What are you guys using? I'm thinking that non-climbers are better off using something else for running ropes and dragging brush.

Tell them toughen up their Mitts. My groundy developed a technique using his shirt for running the rope for heat barrier if not using a lowering device. Lol

I use these for climbing. Cheap leather gloves work great for rigging and seem to last the longest for us.
