Woke up, it was a frosty mornin\"!!
The first few shots weren't tack sharp, but I like this one.
It's the very tip of a laceleaf maple leaf, encased in a frozen waterdroplet...prolly 3-4 mm wide.
Then, I broke out the tripod, and put a focusing rail on it, then the camera and 1-1 macro Canon 100 mm lens. A ten second delay and mirror lockup allowed for fairly sharp images. I don't know if my mistake of leaving the lenses' internal stabilization on affected the sharpness--it's supposed to be switched off for tripod work...
