Hello,

I am new to treebuzz here and i have a couple of questions to ask. I am in the wind turbine business manufacturing 2 kw turbines all the way up to 50kw turbines.

I am curnty climbing 60 to 120 foot towers now and i am using a Yates harness with a chest crol. i find the harness uncomfatable and i am in the market for a new one. I tried a Petzl harness and it was even worse.

I am going to need something with fall protection and a crowl attachment. I was looking at the tree flex but it doesn't have any attachments for the shoulder harness or a crol. I also need something that is OSHA approved.

It is difficult to find anything in the wind turbine area for equipment.

Hopefully someone will help me out.

hi who do you work for? i was an ironworker for a while. dbi sala has what you are looking for sturdy, kinda flame retardent, the exo-fit has a boson seat in a tower rig set up check it out. osha approved. keep it real bro. i've been thinking of climbing some cell towers here part time.

I work for a company called ReDriven.net I tried the exo fit and i found it is only for tower climbing. I scale the wind turbine towers with ropes only there are no pegs on the side of the tower. So i don't think it will work for me.
 
try the buckingham pro series with the master bosun seat i know it can take fall arrest suspenders. good luck on those turbines. i've got a few friends that erect them for barnhart. stay safe
