Who made this??

Can anybody tell me who made this? It looks like a Hobbs but has no markings on the bollard or anywhere else. I got it for $125 at a second hand store.

We have one like that at work too real old, dont know who makes it, ours has no cleats on it though to grab to the tree like that, same bollard though.

Wonder if that came from Lanphear Supply or Karl Kuemmerling. I don't remember anything like that from KK though.

I am not sure if it ever had any. There are a couple of bolt holes in the steel plate above the bollard where there might have been some type of fair lead, but the treads look unused.

You will need some kind of fair lead to keep the rope from overlapping on the bollard and reduce the leverage on the device.
