Who likes one handing?

Yeah I saw the website, and then realized I didn't want to give the site a bump.

I especially like the slack management followed by the removal of all PPE for the felling of the stick. But heh, the owner is a CA so he must know what he is doing, right?

As much as I'm compelled to pile on, wouldn't the right move be to contact this fellow and let him know that other CA's are aware of his habits, and we as an industry want to convey a better image? A rising tide lifts all ships, right?

If I had the time, I'd contact him, but I'm not really in a position to start a dialogue right now. If someone's got the inclination, we'd all be better for it.

Jamin, we had a thread on those guys a year or so ago. The climber is a CA if I remember right. Daniel Murphy called the guy up, you remember that guy Daniel? Any-hoo, he pulled the vid that he was getting hassled for. Maybe he'll pull this one as well.

Randomly found this video before this thread started. I didn't look much into it but the stick on the climbers helmet looked like an ISA members sticker. But it was hard to tell. Made me hope he would get more training.

He is out of MN...wonder if the MN people on here seen him around?

Thanks Bro Benson of the Brothers of the Resurrection!
He only had to say it once. Hope many of you get what this wise man shared with many in his life.

i'm not gonna bag on him, but in the image on the about us page (home page) it looks as if he as not 1 but 2 saws with him in the tree. He is using a top handled climbing saw and it looks as if there is a saw with a 20-25" bar hanging from the backside of his saddle. WTF? mates Plus there is a single phase power line behind him so that puts him at max 25' off the ground. What the hell is the point of the huge saw on his saddle
