Where to buy a helmet cam?

Thanks.
I know nothing about helmetcams, so can you recommend one?

I often climb with an Olympus shock proof camera, which is really good for normal pictures...

Some great vids Mike! I have the same camera, except 720HD.
What do you use to convert the videos for Youtube in HD? I'm having issues converting the MOV. files.

I use Cyberlink PowerDirector and produce the file as H.264AVC which ends up as a .mt2s file extension

I'm not too familiar with the file format. I just know that it works.

I thought I'd show how I mounted mine.

I also wanted to mention for those who don't know, when you watch the videos, you can change the resolution to get better quality when viewing. I think it defaults to the lowest.

I think the GoPro probably takes a better picture but for climbing I chose compactness over picture quality. Since the Contour picture quality is very acceptable to me.

I'd like to get one for on the ground too, so that's a harder decision for me to make. But since I already have the charger and spare battery I'll probably go with another Contour.

I will! I'm really excited about this camera, Ive been messing around with it and the HD quality is mind boggling. Ill get some stuff up when I get a chance

I like my contour camera, recently bought a countour full HD helmcam and its images are great.

Now recently using Pinnacle 14 studio for editing the vids and works out really well.

Love it and never regret I bought it.

I have this one:

I've been really happy with it. Battery lasts between 2 and 4 hrs. (usually 4) I keep a spare in the truck.

You can see some of the vids at my site: http://www.totaltreeservicepa.com/Home/videos All but one were shot with it.

I can't compare it to any of the others though. It's the only one I've used.

Mike. Thanks for sharing that. (Welcome to the Buzz BTW). The footage and the sound is awesome (nice videos BTW) with that camera. I checked out he specs on that and for the price, it is a good deal.

How well is it made? Is it durable?

I think I'll get me a couple this year.
