Where can I find globe 3000?

I'm looking for a longer bridge on my treemotion saddle, but I can't seem to find this stuff by the foot. Anybody have a source?

If not whats a good choice as a replacement bridge? The reading I've done so far leads me to believe a good 16 strand climb line will work (I've got some xtc plus laying around) or lots of folks seem to like velocity on there. I've read ropes like ocean poly or sterling tri tech will wear the paw and rings too quickly.

What do you guys think?

Longer bridge on TM? Whoa horsey...I have a source but it is in the UK...can even get black...let me know if you are interested....

I'm actually trying to make it adjustable by pulling out the tail and putting in a slip knot for ascent and then lengthening it back out once I'm up. probably 6 or 7 feet should do it. If I can't find a source when I need more what would you guys say is a safe alternative?

knot and rope supply used to carry Globe 3000, but I don't see it on their website anymore. A 16 strand might work if you remove the core; otherwise I think it is to fat to fit the holes in the D ring.

I used yale blaze back when tree stuff stopped carrying the globe, that started stocking it again at one point and I bought a bit more, I have about 9' left if you want it. I would just go back to using the yale blaze if I couldn't get the globe. I never liked velocity on my bridge since they changed it. It used to have a tighter feel with the old coating but now it's so loose I found the core would expose itself, never had that happen with blaze.

Thanks for the offer. I think I will order up some blaze and give it a try.

I've read that the aramid fibers wear on the aluminum too fast. Would the technora in 10mm epicord do the same?

Technora is an aramid :) I doubt that the ring will wear out faster than your hip straps.

using aramids and l.c.ps for core material is very silly ..... dyneema and poly cores are fine butttttttttt getting the original replacement ropebridege ....... smart

Globe 3000 is a multilayer dyneema core with a poly cover

I used tritech as my.rope bridge and it put a lot of wear on my swivel quicker then using velocity.

I use yale 11.7mm rope now. Would the tuefelburger 10mm reep shnur line work?
