Whats eating my Hibiscus moscheutos?

Planted this last year, beatiful flower show, but at years end the leaves were descimated! This year the canes were completely dead and brittle, so I wrote it off. I was too lazy to pull it out of the ground, and then it started to bloom this spring, much to my surprise. It is full of leaves, and has loads of buds for flowers.

BUT I just noticed small green larvae absolutely tearing up the leaves! What are they, and how do I control them? Organically if possible, but ill use anything right now, the plant is at the very edge of my garden by grass, and there is no access for dogs or kids.

BT should do the trick although it may be completely defoliated before it kills them..... Any pyrethrin should do the trick....

BT wont work dude sawfly is not a catapillar, it's a larvae

You could of used soaps when they are young. At this point it's pick and smash or any of these should do it.
acephate (Orthene)
bifenthrin
carbaryl (Sevin)
insecticidal soap (M-Pede)
malathion (Malathion)
permethrin
