Apr 25, 2017 #7 flyingsquirrel25 Carpal tunnel level member Location South East, PA To confirm yellow birch break a small twig and smell it. You should have a wintergreen smell. Black or cherry birch has this same characteristic but it's bark is dark and smooth. Yellow birch is my vote.
