I would have to agree that $600 is a little steep. Like another post, I used to sell my old logging saws after one season for about $450-$500. However, don't forget that those saws were used steadily for at least 8 hours a day through the hottest part of the season. Find out as much history behind the saw and its use before deciding it's too much to pay. Maybe the guy bought it new and discovered it was too much power, too heavy, etc., and it has been sitting around with very few hours on it. I once bought a used 044 for $400 that had the original chain, bar, and sprocket on it! Do your homework and maybe you'll find a diamond in the rough!
