I like mine; so nice not to pull that @#%E%^#$$ cord any more. Makes it easier to position the bod to 2-hand those cuts waaayy out there.

Tom is right. That proto probably cost over $30k to build. Not reasonable but the Technology may be used elsewhere. For example, the electronic fuel injection of this saw.

David, That is one mean looking truck! Third axle and hydraulics that could crush cars. Don't tell me you bought that ... We're all just drooling, right?

That was my first crane sale. A tree service in new England had "us" put it together for them. I believe in Palfinger SO much that I told my dealer that I could help tree guys pick the right options and answer their questions. I also do tree removals with the new owners to help speed up their learning.

If you find a use for the Kong Frog be sure to post it. When the original came out many years ago we all thought it was the coolest mechanism. A few were bought...and none have found a use in daily tree work. Still a way cool mechanism!

Yes, this is a typical "we have a solution and now we are searching for the suitable problem" gadget ( i know it's making sense for Quickdraws in rock climbing)

Maybe it can be used as a trigger for the BigShot? This would require that it is releasable under load. Any experience with that?
