Well it\'s winter

Now that it's winter, I'm heading out the door fishing. Not ice fishing either. Temp at 7:03Am is 61* not bad.

Checking in on the first day of winter in Dallas.

Sunrise was at 7:28 so I was up to take a picture of the place on the horizon that the sun peeked up.

19f out right now on the way to 38! A nice October day...if I was 'home' in Minneapolis.

24 here with a windchill of 8. With the windchill factored in it will feel like 11 all day. Tonight I think it is going to be around 8 without wind and I am sure below 0 with it.....burrrrrrrrrr. To bad the heater doesnt work in the bucket truck that for some reason I am designated to drive on a almost daily basis.....hummm....maybe it's karma?
I wonder what it is that I did?

Right now here in the Twin cities its -12 degrees F, without the windchill factored in. I just might go ice fishing.

-34F OR -37C take your pick its cold! AND there it is DEAD calm, for a change.

Hmmm! the Geezer thing is looking more attractive all the time. Now I JUST have to figure out how I could earn my keep (legally) down South for the rest of the winter.

That Arctic chill brought us to freezing from a blustery 77 in less than eight hours.

Was planning to have a chef's salad tonight but blubber seems more appropriate.

It's all good...black cherry burning in the fireplace and two furry dogs to cuddle with (wife's still upset about the X-mass tree thing).

The tree thing I mean, not the wife being upset.

Anyway, 27 at 5:30 am with sleet and freezing rain. 32 now with wind chills in the mid 20's, still sleeting.

You must be a skier?!! I love it !!! Its like twenty some thing with a right smart of wind . Cold tomorrow laying out my clothes for the work day including my fleece lined wild [bad word] pants from Bailey's i will be warm >
