But...what does any of this have to do with TreeBuzz???

Compartmentalization allows trees to survive wounds maybe it could work for arbo discussion forums too.

Tom,
I think that there has been a minority of troublemakers here who have been repeatedly abusive and unpleasant to anybody who regularly posts at the Treehouse.The intention was to try and create some sort of TH vs TB war.
The recipients of this treatment are reluctant to respond, for fear of being tarred with the same brush as the troublemakers, or continuing any pissing matches.
Now this new 'forum' pops up, specificaly for the spreading of lies and hate.
I think this thread was to show exactly where the hate is coming from.

It also proves that regular treehouse members have no desire to 'wound' TB.
I like the difference in the 2 sites. If TH is the lounge, TB is the classroom.
Keep up the good work Mark and Tom

Good question Tom. This is not fair to the members here.

The answer to your question must be that MasterBlaster is trying to bring as much of the TreeHouse soap opera to the TreeBuzz as possible.

What other possible motivation is there?

The internet is a double (or multiple) edged sword. For those of us who try to reap the benefits we must unfortunately put up with a lot of BS that goes along with it. Wade through all the info and absorb the good and useful while discarding the junk. I'm here to learn from and share with my peers. I did not click the link to this new forum, I can easily see that it's useless.

If you crave useless info or daytime dramas why not watch TV? If you've got a real bone to pick with someone then write them a letter. If you're just joking then guess what, that kind of humor is not even remotely funny.

This is a cut and paste of the same post I made on the TH,it fits here also.The whole point is the fact that there are genuine sites that have something to offer a person ,interesting info about tree related subjects.

I myself post on several,here,the Buz,Forestry Forum,Racesaws,Chainsaw Performance,Chainsaw Collectors.In addition ,several dealing with machinery,military stuff and machining methods,plus a couple that deal with wood working on which I just lurk.

I see no point in wasting my time on a site that has nothing to offer other than bile coming from ignorant people.If somebody wants to waste time doing nothing but engaging in senseless diatribe,then by all means,join in the ruckus.

Believe it or not,even with my some what, at times,short temper,I have learned to ignore.I must admit that I do some times retort but seldom any more,no sense casting your pearls to the swine.

Looking at the site I would guess Mick Dundee is the owner. He sounds pretty familar with the TreeHouse so maybe he is a member there too.
