We Still Might Want You!

They Might Be Monkeys! Texas Tree & Land Co. Headed by Nevic Donnelly & Keith Babberney has positions open for Climbers & Arborists. These positions would propebly best suit a yound man or woman who has some exspriance in the industry, but is looking to get their foot in the door mid level long term with a small but growing company. Meaning that the pay is only in the "ok" range to start but the work enviroment is plesant and rewarding. A person with the right resume and proffessional refferances could expect to be flown out housed, fed and paid for 2 weeks to see if it was a good match and then if every thing worked out assitance with relocation. Thanx for your concideration.

Just thought I'd chime in. We are a small company looking to become a slightly less small company. You will never get lost among a crowd here. Our goal is to do top quality work and preserve trees rather than slash and dash.

And I will vouch for Nevic in that he is a much better arborist than he is a speller. If you are looking to improve your skills as a climber and learn more about arboriculture, this just may be the place for you.

Austin is a great place to live for people like us (outdoor types). Rivers, lakes and creeks abound in every direction. Trails and campgrounds are plentiful. You can hear live music of all kinds almost any day of the week. There's a big university so you get a wide cross section of people. We have a geek community, a fitness crowd--just about anything you're into, you can find people here to enjoy it with. Also, we welcome all kinds here, but if you're worried about moving to a red state, rest assured Austin is as blue as any of those northeastern states. (Neither George Bush is actually from Texas.)

Texas is hot in summer, but the up side is that you won't miss much work for rain (or get so desperate that you work in the rain). We get cold sometimes, too, but not very much or for very long. Most years we don't see much freezing weather.

Come on down and check us out.

Sorry to Hi-jack your thread, no harm meant, but I feel your pain with trying to find quality employees (and legal employees). Have you tried job fairs at colleges or TCIA?

But seriously, we're hiring big time.
