We made the big time

In Wednesday's (9/9) New York Times Crossword, the clue for 17 Across is "Arborists." I won't give the spoiler but the answer portrays our profession positively.

I like to do easy crossword puzzles in the morning during my constitutionals. I buy the crossword books at the grocery store checkout line, and I can finish one puzzle in about 3 minutes. The NYT crossword is waaaaaaaaaaayyy out of my league, and not enjoyable to me.

If you can do the grocery store puzzles in three minutes, you can probably do the Monday/Tuesday NYT's without that much problem. I think if you do you'll find they are a lot more interesting than the robofill you find in those books. Once you do a few m/t's, Wed/Thur isn't that much harder. I'm still not up to Fri/Sat most weeks. Sunday is about as hard as Thur, but so big I usually get bored before I finish.

How about:

The crossword puzzles have different themes.
This one was phrases with three consecutive "E's".

It's just up your alley, EZ!

Example:

See EZ

Tree EZ

Bee..(r) EZ !
