I’ve gotta second or third or fourth the vote on Tom Hoffman being a rockstar! My three sons and I connected with him and he was a gracious host, showed us a ton of gear, explained even more. We left with a saddle, lanyard, helmet and various other bits. Our “dickering” over what to pay sounded a lot like Monty pythons Life of Brian (you gotta google it) suffice it to say he made us a great deal. I too am looking to build a U Rig and he offered any tech support needed to make it happen. Arborfest at the WNC facility was a quantum leap over Lake Norman (even though it was awesome there in its on right) but our visit with Tom H. made the entire trip

Jack came in with his three sons … a good-looking crowd if there ever was one! We fitted the youngster with a Vega, an arb helmet, my version of a CE Lanyard and some accessories:





The grins speak for themselves … highlight of my day!

And, yeah, I have to get the hang of this "negotiating" thing. It turns out that I should be the one trying to go UP. Oh well.
