Re: Wanted: Climbers, Groundsmen Equip Oper in LA

What type of tree work is it. Removals, pruning, limbing etc.? What type of climber do you need? Rope or spur? Also what saws needed, ground man provided or bring own? What are you paying the equipment operators/groundies and what type of equipment? Does one need own equipment as well ie bobcat? Thanks i will be awaiting your answers.

Re: Wanted: Climbers, Groundsmen Equip Oper in LA

The work is primarily residential, removals, pruing, limbing.

As for type of climber and more specific info call Andy Davis, 985-788-8221. I believe that they want the climber to provide the crews equipment.

Groundsmen are not required to bring equipment and we are pretty well staffed in that department at the moment, but we are collecting names of all who are interested. Groundsmen are making $8 per hour.

Mostly we are looking for honest, hard working, sane, safety oriented folks.

Equipment operator: T300 bobcat with root grapple. Rate negotiable based on other skills. If you own your own equipment, talk to us. Might be wanting a grapple truck.

We have lots of work. Growing company.

Right now I'm in Dallas purchasing equipment. Will be in LA on Sat eve. Will have more info on Sunday. Call us rather than email as we are going to be without easy internet access for awhile, besides we want to get to know you more personally.

Where are you from? Tell me about you.

Re: Wanted: Climbers, Groundsmen Equip Oper in LA

well im tall and mildly psychotic,
can be heard from half a block away and occasionaly break things,
i like to make the supervisor and client nervous by free falling large pieces near bldgs. and get annoyed with clients easily, especialy if they tell me i need to rope somethin down
i have a bad temper and have been known to walk off a job once a week or so.
i currently have my 215 card and must be accomidated for my smoke breaks.
on my own time i have been known to keep the crew out late drinking at the shop and going four wheelin in company owned trucks.
i have only been fired once, but the crew at the bonfire says its been twice, aww who counts anyways
most days i have childcare for my 5 kids but if the old lady didnt come home from work the night before i gotta leave 1 in the truck with my dog while i work,
but the dog dont complain too much. he just howls for awhile, but he quiets down after it gets hot inside,
i have all my own gear, my pappy handed me down his original gear and i still use it today,
it only takes me awhile in the morning to tweak the jets a lil to get the ol saws a runnin and i got a real neat lil screwdriver that fits in my shirt pocket to adjust em in the tree if need be
i know all there is to know about the tree business,
tree trimmin tree limmin tree removin tree fallin tree climbin treeplantin, tree stumpin tree chippin tree identafacatin, tree sprayin tree savin and tree pricin
and i think thats it wait.. well nope that s all there is to know bout the treebusiness
and im just a short drive away,
i live in greenbough alabama
pm me ill come right away if i dont hear back ill just keep a callin ya
