Want to change my 540i cutting system

Weird I’ve got 3 panther bars with lots of hours on them and no issues. Sounds like August may have something new coming soon.

I was late to the conversion, and I'm curious if there was a QC issue with the batch.. Must have been the lucky one... It's the damnedest thing.. Cuts great until the bar is about half burried, then just stops cutting with the chain spinning... I smashed the rivet back in and gave it a little tweak.. It's cutting a bit better so hopefully I can limp it along for the new batch.

Thats sweet! It's the sprocket that has me walking in circles... I have too many saws (if there ever can be such a thing?!).

I've got 4 top handles msa161t 193T 201tc and the 540ixp, pretty much just using my 540ixp and 261 for all my climbing needs these days.

I've got 5 climbing saws; a 200T, 201T, 335XPT, 2511 and 540i. I'd say I use the 540i about 70% of the time, and the 200T the other 30%. My other climb saws just sit around as backups I guess....
