im looking to buy a Wallenstein BXTR6438F chipper 7" inch feed, 35hp briggs engine but I can't find any reviews on this piece of equipment. I thought It would be best to ask on here to find if others have or seen this model before and could give me there thoughts on it.

I have the CR70. Fair bit different but essentially major components are the same.
Best of all the small chippers I researched.
All is well so far, year going strong. Knock on wood!
Definitely buy again the same machine.

CR70 isn't being sold anymore. something regarding the diesel engines. I guess there was a defect or something. they did fix it tho but stopped making them. not listed on the website anymore.

no i never bought that one it costs the same as a 65xp brush bandit and so i got the bandit as the feed hole was bigger. i've used the bandit for 1 year so far and i like it. if you follow me on Instagram @pacifichedge you can see it there in some videos and pictures attached to my truck as well. check it out.

we have seen that chipper for 17,900 in Lethbridge Alberta. but it was painted blue. i still love the bandit 65xp. here is a picture of my set up and chipper.

after seeing the 7 inch wallenstein, I'm hesitant on the small feed wheel situation. Looks like vermeer puts nice big feed wheels on, bigger than the opening. should be double the throat or almost I wonder. none of them are. In the 9 inch, carlton has a hydraulic lifting feed wheel to deal with the lack of radius. Also, the carleton is available with 55 hp Japanese motor and weighs in at 3600 lbs. morebark chippers too big for me at 12" and too small at 8". Bandit looks awesome but almost as heavy as the light bc1000

Wallenstien doesn’t make big chippers anymore they tried it but then got out of it after a few years. There very first 12” originally needed a few improvements but they sorted that out. There midsized range was more popular.

I have a clean low hour Rayco 6 for sale $5 K
for a 25Hp
it impressed me -- being used to 200hp chippers
