I've had my Metolius bag for about a year and a half and beta the daylights out of it. never had a stitch pop, buckle break, nothing. would put it against any bag.

I just bought a sentinel and if you bag your rope up or fold your rope tarp under the top flap it might be enough for you. I was impressed with the size... certainly bigger than I was expecting!

Metolious quarter dome.

150ft rope
100ft reep schneer for canopy anchor retrieval
Buckingham mesh tool bag with biners, eye and eyes, all kinds of other shinannigans,
Throwline cube
Treemotion with hand saw
Kask super plasma

I rarely keep my saddle or helmet and handsaw in there but certainly could. I love this bag. I'd spend my last $150 on another if I thought they'd never be made again.

I have been throwing one of these around daily for about 3 years now. I don't think you could destroy one unless you are doing something you really shouldn't. It has grab handles at each end that make for convenient loading and unloading, the back pack straps are highly adjustable and the pack is almost water proof. My only regret is not gettig it in a higher visibility color, black was all they had in stock when I stopped in my local REI neading a new gear bag.
I will be buying another if this one ever does whear out.
