The first is from yesterday evening and the second is from this afternoon, but from the same deck, looking a bit more westward.

I had an aunt that lived her whole life on the prairie. I brought her here to visit with me once in the woods of northern Minnesota. She was freaked out the whole time because she couldn't see more than a few feet with all the trees and felt lost the whole time she was here.
I think I would be something like that where Scott lives. With all the islands I would probably be lost trying to find the one I lived on and not knowing which direction I was going when I got into them.
But it is damn beautiful.
