Video: Avant 520 loader

Yeah im not 100% sure where they get there articulated machines from but they sure resemble some pretty close features of the multione brand, just with some different stylings with body work. Its funny though here in Australia Boxer sell there tracked machines against the Avant saying tracks are better on surfaces etc, but if the track system is so great why did they feel the need to have and articulated model?. Just a little note on who copied who i found some interesting info.
In 1998, the company called the Carraro F.lli
Giuseppe and Lucio Spa firm sold a branch
of its business (the baling and sowing
division) and vested its interest
in the tool carrier business, creating
the company CSF S.r.l. with the
intent of planning, producing and
marketing multifunctional compact
utility loaders, which was 7 years after Avant tecno made their first loader in 1991.
I found this info at this link below:
www.compactequip.com/pdfs/ce_mar06_bigrundown.pdf

Im not sure about dealers there, Gehl were taking the old style Avant 520+ painting it yellow and calling it the ADVANTAGE, but as for these new models from Avant maybe you migh be better to contact Avant tecno www.avanttecno.com themselves as to what goes on there.

Nope, The boxer is built by CSF.
And I call BS Mr Avantman. How come Avant were forced to change their design after being sued by CSF?
The new offset boom on the avant is nowhere near as good as the original design. As for lift capacity, we have had a GT50 with a ballast pack lift 1800kgs, and thats a machine that weighs 1500 kgs with the ballast.

Im not here to sledge multione or any other make here, but lets get some facts right.
I think you need to put your glasses on MR-ED because you cant seem to see to well. As per the article which i have posted a link too in one of my last replies, its information clearly states that CSF was started in 1998 which is 7 years after Avant tecno made their firts machine in 1991, in fact if you read the COMPANY info page on the CSF website its there in front of you, so unless you happen to have a time machine in your shed HOW? can you copy a machine that was built 7 years after Avant built theirs. If there was any copying i think its pretty obvious where that was done from.
As for the single offset boom everyone that owns a new Avant loves the single boom, but I can see why CSF would not like it because now they wil have to (copy), sorry i mean come up with a new never done before engineering marvel, (no doubt a new machine with single boom coming out of CSF in the next couple of years!). Do CSF actually have a design team or do they just cut and paste from Avant tecno's website.
As for your info on your GT50, there is some BS and it aint coming from my end.
You state that the GT50 only weighs 1500kgs with ballast added and that it can pick up 1800kgs. But the CSF website begs to differ, the GT50 spec sheet clearly states that the machines standard weight without ballast is 1740kgs(whoops)!.
Generally the ballast added to these type of machines generally weigh around 200kgs which means with this added, the machine then weighs approx 1900kgs making it a very heavy machine. (I think you have got you lift capacity mixed up with your machine weight). Also while we are on specs this machines minimum width is 1490mm which is basically 200mm wider than the Avant 635 maximum width.
Next the GT50s length is 3.1 metre long making it 600mm longer than the Avant 635, and having self-leveling as an option for the GT50, (whats that all about)?
I think your barking up the wrong tree comparing this machine againts the Avant, by the size and weight you should be comparing it against a CAT 994. Where does the term mini articulated loader stop and conventional articulated loaders Begin? As for your answer to NO Bivy about the strong euro, isn't Multione made in Italy??
MR-ED if you ever wanted to become a sales rep for these machines i suggest you read up on the specs and maybe a history lesson, on the other hand if you already are well!!??

No Bivy, Mate Im not really sure over there, but i would say that Avant tecno would be able to help you out with that question better than what i could from here.

Avantman, you seem to be getting your knickers in twist - take it easy dude. You remind me of another aussie who used to post here...
Mr Carrero was building machines for Avant long before CFS was set up as a seperate company. and I'll remind you again, that Avant were forced to change their design after losing in court to CFS, who owned the rights on the design.

You are correct about the GT50 though, I was wrong on the lift, the GT50 lifted 2300kgs whilst ballasted.

If you want a direct comparison to 635 would be the multione SL35.

Do you have any Multiones in stock to compare with? cause we have a few avants people have traded in for CFS machines, so we can say we've done direct comparisons.

As for the Euro, were you not aware that Italy trades in euro's being part of Europe?

I'm not going to argue with you any further - Both the Avant and the Multione are excellent pieces of kit. I would recommend to any buyer that they get what they prefer. After all, to a treeman, any loader is better than none!

MR-ED Even though i diifer in a few things said here, I agree, we can go on all year about it, but unless the buyer actually test these machines all that is said sounds like BS! At the end of the day the people will work it out for themselves.

Filled the tires on my gehl, I don't get flats but ouch! what a rough ride
