I was wondering did anyone switch over to the new cutter teeth(reversable ones). Our old teeth and pockets are worn out and what better time to make the switch. How do you like them or is there something better on the market like green teeeth, etc.
I haven't, but the old Vermeer teeth which I use on the 72 hp machine are good and bad: bad in that they break pretty easily and thats a pita cuz you have to change a broken tooth pretty much immediatley=unscheduled down time...good since they break so quickly, the teeth on the machine are usually fairly sharp.
We have not switched but yet, but as soon as the frost is out of the ground we will be switching ours over. My personal feeling is that they are too new to get a decent accurate review of them. I think the idea behind them is a good one and the price is decent enough, so we will be making the switch and hoping for the best.
