velcro on spider jack

i fell in love with my spider jack the very first time i used it, but now less than a year later the velcro that holds the termination end of my line is barely holding. any one have a better solution than velcro.

Thanks, I am intrigued by the shackle. Titanium too. I do like shiny things.
I rely cant say i got a year out of it Ive been thinking of replacing it from day one, but a little piece of zing it douse OK. its the only part Ive never been fully satisfied with. even after combing even when it was new i felt it was a bad design. when it pops apart is when I need it to hold the most.
about a month ago i decided to try poison ivy and its not locking unless i bounce into it a little which i have kind of liked because if i ease my weight into it i can descend slowly without touching the jack. Ive been assuming that this is clutch ware combined with smaller rope diameter, however im curious if anyone else has experienced that performance with the poison ivy spider jack combo? or is that the hands free descent you where referring to in another post a while back Hollenriech

while im asking for advice, ive tried a few combination's of biners currently im using a sentinel and an AMD on the jack though I think there is a better choice out there. the AMD is probably the one that needs swapped.
