I was just looking at some profiles here and wondered why some decide to be so anonymous? I can understand that some may not want email addresses out in the open, but why not give your location or interests. I love to look at where a person is from. It allows others to see who is out there from their neck of the woods and also help to understand what kind of zone you work in.
For example, Treeclimber165 will have a different view on what to wear during the summer than Kevin. One is from southern US and the other is in Canada. It helps to see why they reply to some things the way that they do.
You can also get an idea of what types of trees and wildlife they may encounter on the job. And some workers have different standards to abide by. It just seems a little too relevant to just avoid typing in a few factors in your profile. Just a thought.
