Sorry for the big build up yesterday and the delay in getting the news out......
At 1:24 Am 6/20/2009, Climber Maximillion Zimmerman was delivered via C-Section.
The 30+hours of labor and nearly 50+ hours of sleep deprivation were not what we had expected, but in the end, we have a beautiful 8lb 3oz baby boy, with strikingly handsome features (wonder where he gets it from).
Climber is in the intensive care nursery with some breathing issues, and still needs all the love and prayers available to him and to Carmen, who had a rough go in the O.R. room, but we are assured that Climber will be just fine and will be released from the ICN within 2 days.
I wish I could go back to sleep (I got a whopping 5 hours this morning after 5AM), but I am about to go be with Climber and hopefully be able to take his picture to share with my friends (you guys)!
Thanks for all of the well wishes and prayers, it means a lot to us and our family.
Love,
SZ
