From what I understand, those are not for arborists. They are for tower-workers, and those that work on sky-scrapers, etc. Who wants to start out the work day with a 300' footlock!

Looks to me like that picture was pulled off of Dr. Gary Storricks' Vertical Devices Reviews webpage...it's a great resource. I think that unit was designed for looong ascents out of vertical cave access routes.

Graeme McMahon in Australia has a similar setup. He does a lot of work in tall eucs.

I think he might have posted a picture sometime in the past.
