Two Ropes, One Safebloc

Hey guys and gals. Maybe you can file this under “stupid questions”, but a Safebloc appeared on my doorstep today. I did what a lot of us would do and took it into the garage to get a look at it. After poking a few ropes thu it and doing some “science” involving a cinder block, I thought, “Hey, I bet two Atlas ropes would fit in that.” I threaded a bight of 9/16” through it and it held the load with a lot less effort than my 3/4” stable braid.
So my question is: What are the reasons I shouldn’t run the device in this configuration? Two ropes (or one doubled over) run in parallel from the cut to the ground hand seems logical enough since the two ropes interface with the ‘bloc with a flatter surface than a single nominally round rope.

Thanks guys. My thoughts were if the two legs of rope were attached to the cut in slightly different locations, there might be some rub between the two during the drop. Might. I wouldn’t wrap two legs on a pw.
