Twin Cities Ford plant closing... video

Not good stuff Taylor. Was this the plant that had the last Ford Ranger drive off a week or so ago. If so that is to bad they didn't give them a new type of vehicle to build.

Edit:
Finally had the video load, that was the same plant.

Sad to hear about that, I thought Ford had designed a new Ranger that was gonna be sold in 180 countries around the world but not the US? maybe its not being built in the US? its definitely being introduced worldwide in early 2012, a damn shame they couldn't build it at that plant.

think it has a 3.2 litre diesel engine, here's a pic -

Our standards for employees are significant and not a worldwide phenomenon. Open trade opens doors - perhaps not ones that we should go through. I am certain that I significantly supported the Chinese economy this month.

I am sure the community will suffer due to the closure.

Is it just about China and India getting the work?

Not to derail, but I often wonder how many guys who say this on this forum for instance buy all their climbing gear USA made? Chainsaws? Cranes? Climbing boots? You get the picture.......
