TUFC comp in Chattanooga

October 30 at East Lake Park in Chattanooga TN. I just registered by going to tufc.com then following the link to urbanforestryconference.org I am expecting to see many great climbers and great friends again. There are some beautiful trees to be had, and I will be swinging by the site to see if they have been pruned yet, later on today. I am also entertaining the idea of a little post comp halloween get together at mi casa for those who are interested.

Literally about five minutes from the line! I have a few friends coming from Atlanta which is only an hour and a half away.

Not sure of the lineup yet, but I know I will be climbing and that should be competition enough for most of ya!!!

! Great I look forward to seeing u guys again. Update on the after party at my house: IT IS NOW BYOB. We will have a little bonfire, cornhole, and some authentic carne asada but there will be no keg. It will also be child and dog friendly. Also it has come to my attention that some climbers might be looking to camp rather than choose a hotel close to the comp site. I welcome anyone who wants to camp at my place and my dad has twenty acres about 45 mins outside of town that he has opened to campers also.

I guess you'll have to show up to prove that, Jeff. I had a GREAT time last year. Hope to repeat the fun this year. The only thing that will make it better, are the bitter tears of Jeff Cochran!

I got to go watch yesterday - perfect weather, monster willow oaks for most of the competition, and some really fantastic climbing. Only had time to stay and watch BJ in the Masters' Challenge, but I'm sure the other four were fantastic too judging by their work climbs, etc. Good work guys, and congrats to whoever won!
