I had a Truckcraft on my F-250, it was one of the best investments I made when I started my small company.
I think I paid $2400.00 for it, back in 2000.
Had it on my truck for 5 years before I sold it to another tree friend.
I did weld two brackets on the front edge where the box meets the bed of truck, there was a gap, and when I made turns in my truck it trended to rock, the brackets stoped this from happening.
Really nice, I have the steel insert and love it but I wish I went with alum because of the weight. Timbrens help alot so the back doesn't sag when loaded.
You gotta let me know how it works out. Once my motorized wheel barrel (S10) craps out I'm thinking 1/2-3/4 ton with one of those in it would be the best compromise for fuel economy while running quotes but still be use for PHC or small pruning jobs that don't need a chipper.
