I've had my large DMM block crossthread too. Must be a common issue. I VERY CAREFULLY filed the starting edge of the leading thread so it wasn't so sharp and quick to bite in. Helped a little, still have to be gentle and make sure everything is lined up. I actually give it a little shake as I turn the knob.

TreeStuff rocks and Luke is awesome!

My small block would catch a little when it was new but it's fine now. Pulled my large block out again today and gave it a TINY bit more file work on the leading thread with a very fine file. Its perfect now, threads right in. I can't say mine ever truly cross threaded, it would just catch a little and need a jiggle to start. I never cranked on it hard when it would stick though. It is irritating that a $400 top of the line block needs tinkering with to make it work properly but I'd still buy it again.

TreeStuff is awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Had my large DMM block crossthreaded out of the box... called Luke, he told me to set it outside and fedex will pick it up tomorrow, he sent another one that same day. Top notch service!! That was last year... The second one did the same thing but I took a thread file and took the buggers off. Works like a dream now.

Put my order in last week wednesday night and had it by friday lunch. I love the free shipping and how my new GRCS is NOT considered a heavy item for shipping. Thanks again Luke it all got to me in time for the job to go smooth. So happy with the investment and even happier the sale went to you.

I love you Luke. Ill post up a picture of said rope once it gets here! I can't wait!!!! Thank you for remembering my request.

Hats off to Luke, I got a hitch climber pulley instead of a DMM oval biner on my recent order and he had the oval biner here the next day and said don't worry about the HC and to just keep it. Thanks a ton man!
