I got all excited and ordered what I thought was the short version. Didn't realize there is a 4footer. I got the 8ft. Dam....maybe I can cut it or something? 8 feet seems really long.

You cant cut down the pulleysaver as the stiffened tail design is a deliberate part of it's function in preventing the clip from riding up into the pulley sheave.

You can daisychain it up though. At least you have the option of still choking it around a large spar. The 1.25m wont go far in that application.

Thanks Trev, I feel better about it now. Daisy chain it is, and the length will come in handy for those pesky Washingtonia filifera.

The first time I ever saw TreeStuff I was inexperienced and thought "man, this site doesn't have much stuff". Now, I realize that this is because he knows quality and he knows what we need! Other sites want to sell anything and everything just to make a buck. Luke needs to make a living but he wants to do it supplying us with the best gear he can. I will NEVER order from another site. If something I need isn't listed I will call and see if he can get it. If he can't, I probably don't need it anyway!
