Yes, really fun to clean up. Felling them makes you feel like your in a bad dream and when they hit the ground they shatter into a self spawning cloud of debris.

When I worked for the city inPA there was a gentleman on the tree commission that was a seedsman and collected all different seed from all over. He had started seeds also and would pot up the seedlings into one and three gallon pots. When the city built a new park, he donated a bunch of these different seedli GS to plant along the border to buffer the neighborhood from the park. I planted that buffer and ponderosa pine was one of the seedlings we planted. They are all pretty big now and had I not been exposed to them there, I would have never been able to ID them. Good pick Waldo. Give me a day or two and I'll try to get one up. If I don't have one by midday Friday, someone else post.
