Treemotion Suspenders

Sherrill had the suspenders on sale a few weeks ago, still feeling as if it too much was still better then what the normal price was. So decided to try them out being I loved having the spenders for my tree austria a few years ago. Like how it normally fits but as opposided to my old suspenders instead of riding down my shoulders when at different angles these pinch up on my neck. Was wondering if anyone else has noticed this when using them? Probally doesn't help that I have to size it way down at only 5'10" 150 lbs. Probally gonna have to sew in either a soft pad or just a none abrasive material sleve to put around the area that would normally sit on my shoulders.

I put the austria suspenders on my old BFII, I liked the gear loops, handy for installing cables. I would like to try suspenders for my TM but the price is not worth it, after all i got the tree austria suspenders for all of 12 bucks.

I have trouble keeping my treemotion from holding up an 020 they sage so bad I may even be putting it on treebay soon...the jury is still out. I read some reviews about the treemotion suspenders and for a lack of better terms most people said they "sucked" so I went to a military site (google-blackhawk load bearing suspenders) I purchased the suspender for 40 bucks and they attach great to the tree motion through the back support leather. I know you spent some bucks already but these will work alot better, I've tried everything to keep the motion from saging and this was the solution.

My TM tends to sag just a few inches and is usually when sitting in spikes with my 020. Even though the neck abrasion sucks, I personally need the support of suspenders especially of late being hauling around either a 361 or a few times a 660 gives me some seriously sagging. As well I use the red ring as my saw attachment point so it always pulls down dead center.

Those actually don't look half bad. Might have to pick a set of those up and probally cut off 2 of those attachment pieces and sew in a few inch long loop-runners to attach to the front rings just the same as the tm suspenders do and then sew on a few gear loops in the padding and they'd be sweet.

The snaps that are on the suspenders themselves are a bit small, too small to use the suspender loop in the back. So I used so very thick throwline and threaded it thru the holes. Made one in the back and one on each side. Works great and feels even better. Pics to come soon.

those blow big balls i had some on my old saddle they lasted all of a week. i went to an army surplus store and found some OLD suspenders for ammo belts those things were the real deal. only thing was i had to sew them so they would stay adjusted right. because of that you had to wear them under your coat in the winter

so i've ben running the motion suspenders for like four or five months now and .............. i hate them. they chafe my neck and are hard to get on and off you ether have to readjust them every time you put your saddle on or somebody has to dress you. if the saw weighs more than an 200t and you have rigging hanging off your belt, they try to choke you to death........ slowly.

that is one of the selling points for our clients. "Watch men climb YOUR TREE in a corsage!" i really think that helps us attract a much higher class patron. all our sales folk dress in black tie.
