treemotion replacement leg loops

Im looking to replace my somewhat worn leg loops on my treemotion. After sending some pics to Sherill, whom I purchased it from about 18 months ago, they told me that it was not covered under the 1 year warranty. They also told me that they did not have the replacement parts in stock, and gave me the part #. They also gave me the price tag of $183!! I thought that seemed a little steep for a few feet of webbing with eyes stitched in the end. Im trying to figure out how to replace it for less money. I also looked on honeybros website and couldnt find their cost for the replacement parts. I was wondering if anyone knew the specs on the webbing? There is a local rigging supply company that we have used to make rigging slings and cambium savers, etc..., so I feel comfortable using them to stitch some webbing. Anyone have any suggestions for me?

got it from treeworker website?

try contacting a webbing/sling manufacture. thats what i'm gonna do when i gets zi moola to fix my t-motion. - or follow the instructions on that website mark gave. although, if an in town manufacturer can do that as well, it might be more affordable than sending it overseas or paying sherill 183. as long as the installation guidelines set on the website are followed.yes?anyone?bular?

That is absolutely sooooo NOT right. If so, someone from our customer service department miss-quoted the item. For your trouble I will personally replace your parts for free regardless of saddle age. The product (for those exceeding reasonable warranty period) should have been under 30 bucks.

After investigation is see it's not on the website, but will be by Tuesday. Grrrrrrrrr. Sorry for the trouble.

Hey Tobe,
thanks for responding back to me. I guess there was a mishap in customer service, but Im glad to hear that the replacements are under $30. What should be my next step, wait for it to come up on your website next week?

funny how he only post when there is a major issue, that'll cost him in the long run. Still like ta know why he charges $200 more for a saddle than others. Why he copies things or has companies make things in Sherrill name then sells it for a much lower price. Too much like walmart if ya ask me.
