Can I be lead guitar? As long as we only do "Miserlou" I can rock the joint!

with a tag like "Frax" I think you HAVE to be lead guitarist. We can just write all of our songs around the one you know, no problem.

Or here's an idea from Todd Snyder's "Talkin' Seattle Grunge Rock Blues" that may be worth considering...

"now to fit in on the seattle scene
you've gotta do somethin' they ain't never seen
so thinkin' up a gimmick one day
we decided to be the only band that wouldn't play... a note
under any circumstances
silence
music's original alternative
root's grunge"

but in case we do wanna jam, start practicing your righteous shredding

I'll bring my acoustic, you get your mandolin and we'll do "Libery," "Ol' Joe Clark" and a few others.

Those who have their pics chosen for the calender can come out on stage and strike a pose...I think we could find some music for that.

Can also do the MC/DJ thing, check with Rhonda W., I did it at the WCTCC.

Where will the release party be? Colorado Springs, Kansas City, Dallas? trying to think of someplace mid-way for us, and far enough away for all of us :

Re: TreeBuzz Rock \'n Roll Bands

Have not played mandy in a few years... & then it was basically so I could play to Eddie Vedder's soundtrack for "Into the Wild". lol. "Leave it All Behind" & "Rise Up" are my theme songs... gotta have a theme song or two.

tcsafety, can you sing? I love to harmonize... Gillian Welch & David Rawlings? Used to do some Be Good Tanyas...
Robinia has got some great musical recommendations, and now w/ Frax practicing, we can do this thing.
:)
