Arbor West Tree Surgeons, Inc is looking for full-time experienced TREE CLIMBERS who enjoys working with teams on jobs that are physically demanding around all parts of San Diego. This job requires an individual that enjoys learning new skills, has a strong work ethic, and likes working outdoors. There is plenty of room for upward growth in the company, and the starting pay is competitive for industry standards. We provide proper training that covers all aspects of the job that include: climbing/rigging safety, proper tree pruning and removals, operating heavy equipment, and daily equipment maintenance.
Necessary Skills:
• Communication skills with management, crews, and customers in order to complete tasks safely and efficiently
• Attention to detail to maintain a high-quality standard of care for the customer
• Possess climbing and pruning ability while using the correct climbing knots and equipment needed
• Moderate tree and plant identification knowledge
• Ability to perform strenuous manual labor in any conditions
• Experience operating chainsaws, chippers, lift towers, and dump trucks
• Basic maintenance on chainsaws, chippers, dump trucks, blowers, and various hand tools in accordance with company policy and standards
Job Requirements:
• Must be able to legally work in the United States
• Able to provide Driver License or the ability to obtain (Class A, B, or C) license
• Demonstrate basic communication skills
• Proper transportation to and from work
• Certified Tree Care Worker Certification (CTW) is Highly Desired! (Not Mandatory)
