Thanks Russ,

Boys don't cry ya know. Although, I'd be happy to cry over a cask-conditioned Surly Furious! I spliced and climbed on the PI for the first time today... WOW! PI spliced very easily and is super smooth in combination with IceTail tied in the XT prusik (rich_h showed me the XT at the MN short course). Still new of course but I'm impressed with Poison Ivy! Of course, I am still excited about the treeMotion!

I've been climbing on mine for two full weeks now, and I can't say enough good things about it. The only problems I have with it are, once I shortened up the bridge, I didn't like how my lanard hangs off the lower rings. Another problem is there isn't a place to put the extra webbing from the leg straps, and the back pad really collects saw dust. That being said, it is the most comfrotable harness I have ever used.

With the excess webbing I just folded the webbing over and used a few zip ties ti hold them together. Another thing I did was to use Plastic Dip on the ends of the elastic that holds up the leg straps to keep 'em from fraying!!!

Not sure what you mean by this. I shortened my bridge and haven't had any problems with my lanyard.

Can you explain a little more? And provide a photo?

Mahk, when I shortend the bridge, it brought the Lower rings more in front of me. Istead of being on my side. So the landard gets caught up on my knee as I move thought the tree. If I remember I will take some photos tomorrow.
