Hi can anyone help me identify what kind of tree this is?

Looks to me like some variety of Spruce. Maybe Blue or Norway? I may be wrong though, I get my conifers mixed up more often than I would like to admit...

I have seen those plates on an old Box elder the Groves seems to shallow to be fur but I could be wrong different climates get different results beautiful wood tho
