Does anyone have any experience with Tree ID Apps on their phones that they would recommend?

My wife uses PictureThis. It is right the great majority of the time. There's a small annual fee but it is worth it.

I used this as I was trying to improve my innate ID. A big tip is to use it for more than just the name. It tells you a bit about the tree and some things that are unique to it's appearance if you actually read the description. Eventually you'll start just checking it to confirm what you already assessed and then after that it will turn into that renewal that you keep meaning to cancel but always forget

I like the Virginia Tech Tree Identification app. It’s free and gives lots of pictures and a good blurb about the tree. And it has a key to figure a tree out.
